Is the Fiat Idea a bigger car than the Stilo?

As I want one or the other as a family car.

It's a mini-MPV type thing based on the Punto so it's probably taller than a Stilo, but shorter and narrower.

Fiat has presented this car in January in Italy...

available with

1,3 MJet 70 bhp
1,9 MJet 100 bhp
1,4 16v 95 bhp

I have tested it... forget the Punto, Idea is quite different...
It's very large you will find on it more space then in a Stilo...
beleve me... only the boot it's smaller but you can tip the rear seats...

I'm 198cm (76 inches) and I haven't had any problem for driving it..

Go to test it when fiat will present it in UK...

My father and my mother probably will buy one... but they are waiting the DFN (automatic gearbox) for May...

It is cool.. I can see that analogue instruments in the centre working nicely...the Mk1 Mini had it and the Phase 2 Renault Espace has a digital dashboard in the centre of the car....that is very nice.

Not sure about this two-tone interior design that FIAT are adopting, perhaps it's ok in the right colours.

The car looks fine but does it have 'you've been tango'd' livery?

Sometimes the colour of a car can make it look naff.

like it, the 2 tone seats are great as well. good to see fiat getting good sales.

1987 126 FSM, 12" minilight style wheels, clear rear lights, smoked indicators.

I think the interior looks sweet - if only the clocks were in the proper place i.e. in front of the driver!
Not so keen on the exterior though; the shape could easily be mistaken for a Daewoo/Hyundai/Nissan/any other tedioius little MPV thing.

I think Top Gear tested the Idea (pronounce it ee-day-ah, someone, please?) so check their website.

Looks like a clever little evolution of the Punto.

Spirito di Punto | M-reg 55SX, black, 5dr. Clear repeaters. Remote locking fitted, no light confirmation yet though - need relay fitted

not keen on the central dials at all, but it looks like a nice little Mini-MPV.

that's really nice, they gave one away last night at the Ireland vs Brazil game. not a mpv fan, but this is quite nice, front end a bit like daewoo kalos though
