I saw the advert on TV last night for the first time, it looks fantastic the way they've shot the commercial, I just hope it looks as good in the metal!

FIAT seem very tight when it comes to advertising on British TV, perhaps someone should tell them that mass advertising seels cars!

What are you saying about bus users, that they are all dolites or peasants?

I really must protest. Public transport fulfills a very socially necessary function.
We should ban all cars from cities.

Ah come on! Are you being serious?

As far as I'm concerned bus lanes should be abolished. We pay road tax to use the road and yet we're forced to queue while bus users (who pay no road tax) get a free lane all to themselves! How can this be?

Bicycles irritate me as well. They pay no road tax and have no insurance and yet they are allowed to share the road with cars. If we hit them it's usually our fault, if they hit us on they go and if there is damage what come back do we have? None. They have no insurance.

Bus users like the rest of the Dolites are subsidised by the state, so if you are a lazy lentil eating good for nothing lefty who refuses to work and has decided to spend the rest of his life on the local council estate living in Tripoli Towers, you get your rent paid, your council tax paid, money to go to the pub, money to do your shopping, let's not forget the money they have for cigarettes, and they get heavily subsided half empty buses to travel on!

This country is great, that's what honest working people pay taxes for!

Don't start on immigrants, they're even more heavily subsidised, I know that because round here they're too good to use bus services, they've all got their own cars, uninsured and without tax of course but nevertheless they still have their own cars.

Just remember, if you want this to got on keep voting for Mr Blah!

This country is going to the dogs!!!!!!!!!![:(!]

don't hold back!

I'm not a big fan of buses, but if more people used them, we'd all get to work quicker, until the bus has comfortable adjustable seats and heat i won't use it!

I agree with Clarkson and Cowell.

Get rid of the bus lanes and have 'rich' lanes for those with lots of money instead :p

Do they still have such lanes in Russia?

I think you will find that the amount paid to an asylum seeker is pitance.

The buses mean that we have slightly less congested roads and hence can have a little more fun driving. Just like the congestion charge, a fairly socialist driven council pushed it in so that people who can afford to pay can drive with less busy roads, how far is that?!

I am not sure how I feel about bus lanes. It depends where they are. If for example I have to get a bus because I can't drive (e.g. going to catch a train) then I want lots of bus lanes. On the other hand I would prefer not to have a bus lane coming up to a busy roundabout slowing the whole process down.

How about it then, bus lanes with restrictions for when I am not driving?!

If you hate bus lanes and buses, find a bus lane that allows drivers in it during the off peak hours and drive down it around 25mph infront of buses, doesn't half annoy them because they assume they own the lane!

Maybe by putting adverts for cars in bus stands we are allowing people with low incomes something to aspire to and hence motivating them. Sounds like a great oppotunity for Blair's marketing machine.

I resent the feeling that all bus uses are lazy poor people. It is certainly not true. It is also not true that all buses are half empty, just at off peak times. This is the time they provide a service and focus less on the business aspects. If you had to use a bus - for example because your poor Fiat breaks down - and you needed to go somewhere during the day, you would resent the fact no buses ran at that time because it might run half empty.

Having used buses for a long period of time I am not saying they are comfortable, quick or cheap but they do provide a useful service.

Ok, yeah, get rid of bus lanes and trams in Nottingham.
