Why arn't Fiat envolved in any motorsports in a factoy status?

Sure they have Ferrari as their sports brand but wouldn't being involved in BTCC or WTC or something boost the profile of the Fiat brand?

The only Fiats I've seen in mainstream motorsport are:
Stilos in ice racing - but they're space frame with 3litre engines!
Punto in Junior WRC.
Uno/Panda in FIRE racing.

Maybe they should start their own single make series like Renault/Seat?

you just want to see them make or take part in these events so they will be included when a new toca game comes out lol

money i would guess.most only do it for the publicity to sell cars.
its not cheap and unless oyur winning not exactly a good ad.

Only last week Autosport reported on FIAT winning its forth European rally title, its first since 1981 after Giandomenico Basso won the Madiera rally. With six rounds gone the Basso & the Punto Super 2000 rally car can't be caught for the title.

First I've heard of that. Hope they make a good shout about it as Seat have been doing with the Ibiza since it started winning.
