hi room,ive had my 96 brava for 4 yrs now,i love it to bits but its time for a change.body good,never any probs,serviced regular and only 52,000 miles due to car sharing for work.i was hoping for around 800 ish,its a 1.4 12v.am i about right.??

500 max. the 1.4 is an absolute pig of an engine

yeah eveyone in the fiat world knows that the 1.4 engine is a doughnut, but you might sell it to a random in your local paper

though's 1.4's don't they use a triple valve head like a proton? I remember proton pulled it off quite well, a very torquey engine that rev'd, err not much (1.3 wouldn't pass 4500rpm, which was a joke).


£4-600 in a local paper, and expect £450, the 1.4 is horrible but unforunatly popular, hey its still better than vaux's 1.4!!!!!:devil:

Agree with all above. However if you do manage to sell it privately to an unknown i would hope to get £600-700 as 52k is still quite low mileage.
