Im in the market to buy an X reg 16v 1.2 punto sporting

Iv read reviews, some good, some bad.

Im guessing this is the same of most cars but im worried about faulty airbag lights and other related things.

The car i have in mind has had a new head gasket put in along with other parts linked with it...including a new cat converter and lamba sensor.

Is this a good thing?...it has had new parts so surely thats good????

Well to have stuff like that (lambda and cat) replaced so soon (X Reg is only 1999/2000 IIRC) would seem a bit dodgy unless it was of a fairly high mileage (say 90-120k).

The HG would also seem strange, but they do go rather sporadically tbh

yes it had done knocking on 80k miles.
