Hi,
You may have read my previous posting about the dreaded red keys for a Brava. I have since found out that I may have the new style ECU - do I then need the red key - is this a codeII type ECU or doesn't it matter what style the ECU is?

Thanks

Ian

ps. the dealer has a contact who I have spoken to who assures me he can produce a red key for my car which is gauranteed! - any comments

Ian

Look at your blue key. If it has a traingle with a halo round it and the number 2 stamped on it then you do NOT need a red key. If there is no 2 then you DO need one.

ALL Bravo/a were series 1 and require a red key. I would ask the dealer to prove the red key he produces and ask him to programme a new blue key from it to test it.
