Well after a years worth of driving my car finally got broken in to. Luckily I didn't get anything stolen, they managed to open the car but must have been disturbed because my Kenwood CD player was still in the car as was everything else, untouched. They pulled away the top of the front passenger door and now it's going to have to be replaced.

And just when I think my insurance company is going to be my savior they turn round and tell me if they pay out anything they'll take 2 years worth of no claims off me! Times like this i'm seriously wondering why the hell I pay 1200 quid a year on insurance as well as the numerous other extortionate prices I pay for a 94' Punto!

yup got to agree.really unless you have a total or near total loss its hardly worth claiming

well this is happening alot with puntos, they seem a target now

is that your punto is your avitar? if it is not then find a new door and get it repaired
if it is your's its deffinatly not worth getting it repaired, you should break it

Door should easily be replaced... When my bravo got broken into and they bent the door, i took it to a bodyshop and they bent it back for me

on my last cinq i bent my door back.little damage to the paint at the bottom of the window. plus it was a touch more effort to open from then on

sorry to here about your break-in. for the cost of another door, just replace it. there are loads of puntos around being broken, so you should find the right colour. good luck.

My '94 was also got at this weekend didn't get in but bent door - I straightened it my self found a set of locks local breaker 53 quid inc VAT cudnt find anything on eBay.

im joking, but im thinking your thinking im saying that because wheels etc are not to my taste, no its not that, i said it because i need a bonnet in that colour, lol


there is someone breaking a silver 5 door punto on ebay, maybe buy a door, not sure if its on there now but it keeps being relisted.

Looks like arthur dailey 94 was hoping for some cheap parts for fleabay sorry to hear this mate insurance companies certainly cover theyre asses makes me sick

no i was joking i said it because people know im looking for a bonnet in that colour, i obviously know his not going to break it.

My old nissan was broken into(ripped off outer door skin to get at lock!)but couldn't find anything worth nicking under all the old cans/chip wrappers,sweet & crisp wrappers & general junk
