Yes, I've seen those pictures. But I can't see it being called the Fiat Simba when it goes into production. It will be a Fiat Panda SUV or something similar.

There is going to be the Panda 4x4 and the Panda SUV (Simba)..

Definitely would buy the SUV and go to the Masai Mara in one... how cool would that be!

Arn't Fiat treading on their own feet a bit with the Panda then? I thought it was the Seicento replacement but it seems much bigger so it's in Punto teritory isn't it?

If you see one in real life you'll realise how small they really are. They aren't much bigger than the Sei.

The boot is very small, similar to the Cinq or Sei, but split fold seats are standard on all but the base version.

New Punto - I'll give you that one.
New Large - We've seen no decent pictures of it, so how do you know?
New Panda - Have another look. It's the best in it's class.
Barchetta - The best value roadster out there at the minute.
Idea - Agreed, it is very tidy.
Gingo - This was what the Panda was going to be called.
Simba - A concept. The 4X4 Panda will look very diiferent with decent colour schemes.
Stilo GT - Check the Fiat site for specs.
Trepiuno - Gorgeous
Coupe - no replacement planned

I say a Panda at the garage the other day, it is indeed very tiny, but has reasonable space for 4, a bit like the Deawoo Matiz has (before anyone flames me, no the Matiz is nowhere near upto the Panda's satandard, its a shed)

the matiz was rejected by fiat years ago, the went with the cinq (i think) instead, mightn't've been half bad given a bit of fiat flair!

I think that FIAT must make a great admiral car like FIAT Croma, very very elegant, good looking and not very expensive. I think that the new FIAT Large should be in two versions: familiare (staton wagon in english) and a berlina 3 volumes with 5 doors like Croma, taking the most significative features.

Quite a discussion here but anyone wanting excellent build quality and speed soon should forget it because when it does arrive they will only bump up the price then it will be out of the reach of the masses i.e. US!
