OK,

If you look at this website

http://www.undergroundgraphics.com/shop/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=257&strPageHistory=cat

you can see that they do all types of forum and club graphics. I emailed them the following message...

"Hi -

The prompt reply was..

"Hi Chris,

The most common decals we supply for clubs are 300mm long website addresses.
I see your Forum logo does not have the full web address on, however we
could still do this for you.

The only difficulty we would have to overcome is the positioning of the 'for
talk on all thinks fiat' slogan. If you have the decal in one colour the
tops of the first few letters will be lost in the Fiat logo. You can either
make the logo in two colours or drop the slogan down a bit so that it does
not overlap the Fiat logo.

I would recommend just making them single colour and changing the spacing.

Usually the best way to market the decals to your club is by having a 'Club
Merchandise' section on your Forum to list the products available with a
link to our online store where you can buy them.

If you wish to go ahead with having us be your official supplier we would
draw up the artwork for the decals and email it to you for approval. When
you are happy with it we will list the decals on our website and email you
the link so your members can buy them. Decals will be listed in about 12
regular colours and 4 special colours [etched, chrome etc.].

We can also supply sunstrips, show plates, legal plates with your logo
ghosted through etc. so if you could let us know if you want any of these
added to your part of the online store I can have the artwork done for this
as well.

Let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks,

Chris."

What do you all reckon?? After a few days of posts i will reply if your response is positive.

I'd get some stuff for sure!

Nice try, can't wait to see Gaz's face when you call his efforts sub-standard ;)

  Oh fcku! I wasn't aiming anything at anyone! I was talking mainly about some of the novasaxocorsa clubs. The stickers they have made up are terrible "sub standard" affairs.

I have never seen Gaz's. Couldn't possibly comment. Thought never entered my head! Honest. :bang:

I just thought it may be nice for everyone to have matching styles/font's etc. I know on my car i have the fiatforum web address on all of the rear windows (sides and back). The font looks cool, but doesn't look 'official'.

Once again... i wasn't having a go at anyone elses efforts.

i think its a cool idea, i got bodystyle.org.uk decals on mine, there chrome etched with a decal of a sports car around them, imo very cool.
also have the writing fiatforum.com but just doesnt look as jazzy. would be great if we had some funky decals!!! underground graphics are the kings in thier feild!!!

LOL, I was only joking, I knew what you meant :p Thanks for asking on behalf of the forum, it's just a case of how far the FF staff want to take things, that remains to be seen :)

Would it hurt at all for us to have the 'artwork' drawn up and posted to a 'person in charge' on here for approval. Then a sticky with the link on for people to purchase them??

He doesn't mention that there is any costs involved for them doing the artwork.

I don't know the ins and outs of how this would work, but so far i can't see any harm in it. I'd love a set of the ghosted plates.(y)

it's a great idea, i would imagine the initial artwork would have to be paid for, but after that it would just be the price of sticker, plates, sunstrips, etc...

it is best to go through there site though, cause from past experience a lot of people say they are interested and when the time comes for payment they disappear or say that they dont want them anymore

will need to find out a price for each of the items before anything goes ahead, it could well put people off

www.carfx.co.uk is also good and do something similer to undergroundgraphics, they also do a range of clothing which could come in handy for meets/shows , i have a very good relationship with them as they have supplied the 1500+ (sub-standard:p) stickers that some members have on there car already

my stickers are most probably on your car too slippy :D

If you want other quotes... visit - www.speedlinecargraphics.co.uk

Its a mate of mine that owns the company so you may be looking at a cheaper quote, very good quality, quick service and a fast reply to messages you send!

If you want to contact him, tell him.. Rich from StreetCruisin sent you over & he'll do you an even better deal! (y)

PS- Not that I think there is anything wrong with the 'sub standard' stickers.. Ive got a set on mine - look fine!! lol...

Personally i think gazs ones should be kept with.

A lot of cars will have those decals now, so if you start changing things then it would become confusing.

Also i think the simple fiatforum ones we have now work well, understated and all that.

If they were really fancy and ostentatious i wouldnt have one!

And as dave says, its a forum not a club and imo shouldnt be confused with a club!

I quite liked the idea of the ghosted plates and stuff. No one else?

These are the ones i've got on mine now - i'd quite like the proper logo though, would anyone object if i got one made? Who would have the original artwork?

I actually really like the sticker Gaz had made up specially with the Fiat logo in blue. As it's otherwise pretty simple, wouldn't be too costly to make up in bulk I guess.

i like that one too  , then dave copied me :p - carfx can make up these stickers, this saves combining the 2 together and lining them up properly

the only way is to buy in bulk (100+) from past experience, the initial set-up and artwork costs are what bumps up price, the ff stickers where made for as little as 2p! , the big ones where 50p

i know that the current ff stickers arent exciting, but to keep costs down and to be appealing to all members they had to be like that , a little colour makes them slightly prettier :D

the things is on this forum, we are all differnt, some have stock standard fiats other have highly modified cars, the ff stickers on mine atm look slightly tame but i can understand why others like to keep them that way, could have a selection for members, depending on what would suit there fiat
