Hey, has anyone installed an air intake for the 2007 fiat punto? If so what air intake did you use and how did you go about installing it?
I'm interested why you want to do this. What benefit/s do you hope for?
Well sound really, and it's an inexpensive mod to do for someone who new to car DIY, it's a grande punto 1.2 2007I'm interested why you want to do this. What benefit/s do you hope for?
Bro what are you talking about? I'm asking about an intake on a fiat punto not on what you think is a better sounding car,, please stick to the topic at hand?Or try an Alfa Tipo 33 racing on you tube. There's a number of clips to choose from (no wonder I suffer from Tinitus! Although I still blame the Matras for that!)
Sorry Red, Not intending to give any offence - I love cars and do tend to get a bit carried away, Senility might play a part too? - In fact, now I think about it, when I was young my first decent road going car was an 850 Mini. I fitted a straight through pipe with a tiny "cherry bomb" silencer in the middle under the back bumper which featured an upswept tail pipe! I took the chrome grill out and removed the hub caps because I thought it made it look more like a racer! The car was still as slow as ever but I loved the sound it made. I put a pancake filter on my Mk1 Cortina and another small silencer with the pipe exiting under the passenger door, made no difference to how it went but, again, I liked the noise. Looking back on it, It was just as well we lived way out in the countryside.Bro what are you talking about?
