Hey, has anyone installed an air intake for the 2007 fiat punto? If so what air intake did you use and how did you go about installing it?

Or try an Alfa Tipo 33 racing on you tube. There's a number of clips to choose from (no wonder I suffer from Tinitus! Although I still blame the Matras for that!)
Bro what are you talking about? I'm asking about an intake on a fiat punto not on what you think is a better sounding car,, please stick to the topic at hand?

You can make one with silicone hose, aluminium tube joiners, K&N filter and some brackets. It will be noisy, wont go any better than standard or Pipercross or whatever snake oil you prefer.

If you want a faster car buy one with more power. It will cost a lot less than wringing a few ponies out of a small town car engine.

Sorry Red, Not intending to give any offence - I love cars and do tend to get a bit carried away, Senility might play a part too? - In fact, now I think about it, when I was young my first decent road going car was an 850 Mini. I fitted a straight through pipe with a tiny "cherry bomb" silencer in the middle under the back bumper which featured an upswept tail pipe! I took the chrome grill out and removed the hub caps because I thought it made it look more like a racer! The car was still as slow as ever but I loved the sound it made. I put a pancake filter on my Mk1 Cortina and another small silencer with the pipe exiting under the passenger door, made no difference to how it went but, again, I liked the noise. Looking back on it, It was just as well we lived way out in the countryside.

So please don't be offended and please do keep on working on your car. My boy's 2012 Punto is bog standard and I've not looked at anything like aftermarket filters etc for it so I'm sorry but I can't be a lot of help to you with this. However please do ask if there's anything I can help with in the future.

Kind regards
Jock
