Hi, I have a Fiat Doblo Cargo 1.3 multijet 2006
It has been diagnosed with a ECU problem, the garage said it would be too much to fix so don’t bother but I have googled and found place to get it repaired but I need to Remove it myself and send it to them. Not sure where the ECU is located and how to remove? Is this easy??
Many thanks for any help anyone can give

Hi.

Post in tech talk..

Tell us more about the vehicle..its engine

And the faults it has

Often garages like swapping ECUs as its easier than proper diagnosis..

Engine problem?
If so the engine ECU/pcm is normally under the bonnet often on the bulkhead or near the battery

But a bit of detail into your issue first before going for a ECU repair

Thanks for the reply’s, it had a engine light come on think it was p0100, it was a maf sensor fault. So the garage replaced the maf sensor, it didn’t do anything. They then rung fiat and was told it could be the wiring, they went through the wiring and couldn’t find any problems. So they have said it is a Ecu problem. I also keep getting a water warning light coming on but the water level is fine.
Many thanks
