Hi all, I bought my 1st 2nd hand (08plate) fiat, grand punto, a couple of months ago, a couple of queries I have is-
1, the clutch seems ultra light, I don't think it's going as the biting point is nowhere near the top, is this standard for fiat's?
2, (most important) I'm struggling. to get 1st or 2nd gear sometimes, e.g, I come to a stop for whatever reason (traffic lights, junction etc ) try to get it into gear & it stubbornly refuses to go in, sometimes it goes straight in, sometimes I have to put it into 2nd then 1st & sometimes it won't & I'm sat there like a pratt while I get abuse or beeps of other drivers, but rest of gears are fine!
3, the heater control knob is stiff when trying to get full demist, I have to literally hold it or it rebounds back, (other controls are fine)
Hoping someone can help as I'm seriously thinking I may have regretted the decision of not buying another ford or vauxhall !
Other than these probs it's a reliable powerful economical little car(1.3 diesel)
