Punto Fully Automatic

Not sure if the right place or not.
Did Fiat make a fully automatic New shape, 2008 onwards, Punto?
Currently have a Mk2b facelift fully automatic Punto.
Been looking for a new shape Punto in fully automatic and all I can find is Dual logic automatic. Had a mk2b Punto with dual Logic and I hated it, plus the box went knackered at 46000 miles so, I don't want a Dual Logic again.
Thanks in advance and I hope I've posted in the right part of the Forum.
John.

Re: Punto Fully Automatic

Hi. Not sure how you had a torque converter auto in a mk2b punto..
My recollection was early puntos had CVT
Or speedgear..same as duologic.

Grande onward are all duologic.

I stand to be corrected, but I believe the only Fiats which don't use Dualogic autos are the 500X, as they're built on the Jeep Renegade platform, so use the 'proper' auto from that.

Hi Charlie,
Mk1 punto had the electronic clutch system operated by a switch on the accelerator pedal. Mk 2 and Mk2B have the CVT speedgear system. Both Mk2 and Mk2B have a torque converter but are still CVT. I have replaced auto boxes on both Mk2 and Mk2B and they do have the torque converter.
Mk2b Dual logic has a standard manual gearbox and clutch but opperated via the hydraulic acctuators.
Sad to hear that the Grande punto onwards dont have fully automatic or speedgear auto boxes. Now i need to look for another auto car.
Probably end up with a bloody Fiesta auto now
