I just spend £500 on me Tipo.

1) Gearbox Rebuild
2) New Clutch
3) New Inner CV Boots
3) Carburettor Resealed
4) Tune Up

And its not going like it used to when I first got it nearly 3 years ago.

I used to take out BMW 318i's
I used to take out Saxo VTS/VTR/VTwhatevers
I even took out a Tipo 2.0 Gran Turismo

But now.... it seems its lost it's mojo... but I got a feelin its lost somewhere in the car (I.E not completly broken)

Can anyone help me and my baby Tipo?

could just be that your engines getting a little tired.. what sorta milage are you on?

my tipo is on 92000 miles now and my uno is on 52000.. reving and smoothness of the uno is so much better than the tipo.. im not saying how quick it is or anythjng like that. im basicly saying that the uno engine (same as the tipo) is alot more responsive and runs smoother than the tipo one even though there is nothing wrong with the tipo engine. just a sign of old age me thinks :)

The Milometer say's (approx) 76000 but it could be more

The smoothness is all there, runs quiet aswell for an old car (probably to do with the £500) the pull is still there but when i get to those higher speeds its like it gives up or is not getting enough of something.

I was hoping it hadn't come to that and that it was fixable :(

I reckon it might be that, I feel like that but others still think my car flies along! It is easy fixed though, just go drive a crap car for a few days ad you'll soon want your own back!
