Keyfob swap

Does anyone know if it's easy/possible to change the key fob (as attached) to fiat 500 key fob? will the board and key fit?

by that i mean to change the current key fob shell which is pictured above to the one listed below:

As far as I know, no, there's no way to swap the internals from one type to the other. The blade might fit, but the board/button's wouldn't line up.

You might be able to reprogram a second hand one and have a new blade cut

maybe at some point i'll order a shell from ali express and if it works fine - i'll update the thread.

It is not complicated at all

I did my own, my car didnt come with a fob, but i new it had the stuff inside the car to support one, they all left the factory with c/locking and remote antenna.

So i bought a 2nd key, re-cased it so its like brand new, programmed the remote fob using MES (registered version) and got my car security code from Sturgess Fiat for £12.50 + vat (£15) to the forum.

Once programmed, i can unlock / lock / put the windows up and down with the remote, oh and open the boot.

Now i just need to get my blank blade cut.
I am sure the remotes use the same signal etc, i reckon its just the PCB and casing thats been re-designed.
