my exhaust is hanging loose off the back of the car. It's bobbing up and down a little when driving. It looks like it has just come loose from the chassis down near the back of the car.

On sticking my head underneath it appears some connection has fallen off somewhere along the line. Is there a special screw needed for reattaching the exhaust to the body??

It is held on with what are in effect very large rubber bands.
Get it fixed before the extra stress breaks another rubber mounting

Glenn, couldn't find a compatible mount on that ebay link for a 2012 punto hatchback, 1.2L.

I just ordered some exhaust clips that can be bolted on. They come with bolts. They look very strurdy so should be a good job. Looks like they can be just wrapped around and bolted up. Going to save a trip to the garage with a bit of luck.

If you went to a tyre and exhaust place I would imagine that they would match one up for you.
