To keep the car as it was built, I thought I would obtain some antifreeze from my local dealer.
No chance. Apparently they have never stocked it and don't know of any dealer that does!
I was told it was expensive so they don't bother stocking it and to go and try Euro Car parts!

Is this the case at your dealer.

BTW my dealer is a Stoneacre branch. I know, I know........

It is all very similar, so why bring it from Italy, when there are plenty of good brands available locally.
Euro, Halfords, GSF, Andrew Page, any other factor or local accessory shop.

I know I could get a similar product from any good motor parts retailer but I like to use OEM wherever I can.

So I was surprised by the reaction of a main dealer.

I have since been to GSF and bought some a/f.

So what do they used if they change a head gasket or do a radiator change?

its called paraflu and is around £8-£10 for 1 litre, I bought a bottle a couple of weeks ago from my local fiat dealership, or you can order it from shop4parts
