Why are there so many Fiat logos?

Always wondered...

My car has a blue Fiat badge, and newer ones have a nice red one. Then there's many 90s models with a sort of leaning F I A T badge - also printed like that on the windows of my Fiat! And then the older ones with the //// one.

Is there any real reason as to why they've changed their logo so quickly in recent history?

Have to admit, I'm a big fan of the latest one over any of former logos! Shines well in the sun!

Probably due to company image or marketing changes.

I think they just move with the times.
I have a new shape fiat bravo which had a red badge and like many other i have given it a new look, and must say it looks good

The simple answer is down to marketing. A new badge/logo can mean a new era equating to more sales & more profit/money. It really is that simple.

3 in 30 years.. not that much change.. there have been SOME changes behind the scenes ..but nothing drastic..

look at the Alfa Romeo badge history for a real Italian perspective..

I got into FIAT with the Blue BLOCK lettering of the 1980's..

the RED badge is a real throw-back to the 1930's..
complete with a letter R..

EDIT - got me thinking - what / how was the aviation side of the business badged..??

Trouble is the new red logo is cheaply made and mists up and goes tacky looking. I like your nail Polish option, might try that on the van. .
