i saw them and looked at my hubby with WIDE eyes, he said i can do it but it'll cost 400 quid.

Is that just for the carbs? Seems reasonable considering I just spent £376 on a digital powerbox. But with the carbs your gonna need gas flowing and bigger valves and prob a different cam to be worthwhile.
