I know the current Panda is only 5 years old and Fiat like to get 8 years out of a model it seems but i would like to see peoples thoughts on the current design and how the next model should designed and styled?

I have the mk2 Panda and think it is ageing well in large part to it's simple design and boxy look. I have driven the mk3 panda and i love the interior but think the exterior is already looking a bit old. Is there any rumours on when the mk4 will be out? and any clues on it's styling.

Psst you have a Mk3 ;)

There was a thread on here with some spy shots of the upcoming Mk5 which looks mostly to be just a lightly facelifted Mk4.

I have made a terrible mistake haha!

It's not that i dislike the mk4 i just think it has lost some of the panda genes. The panda should be about making a car that carries 4 adults for as cheap as possible and curves cost money! would love to see a more boxy design and lower prices. I also just discovered the multi jet id no longer offered over than on the 4x4 and trekking models which is a shame. Is the mk5 due to be shown at a motor show this year?

I'd forgotten about that Mk1 - the Mk2 is, to my mind, the cool early Panda. That Mk1 grill is nasty. ;)

I believe the current model panda was launched March 2012 so only 4 years old at the moment, bearing that in mind motoring could change a lot in the next 4 years

there was an ELECTRIC ONLY Panda in the 80's;)

models/marks of Panda are always a point of debate on here @MEP:)

I suspect the UK launch was 2012 but we are sometimes 18 months behind other more Key Markets:eek:

I personally think the current one has LOST something - having owned the other 3 predecessors

I would like to see another "bare-bones / 2CV -a like" but with modern EuroNcap , etc it's unlikely to happen.

BUT as any 80's FIAT owner will remind you the MPG figures were better than modern "ECO" versions
