Dont wait till 10 years old to add a layer of underseal to the car....

Catch any rot early and keep the underseal well topped up will help the car live longer and protect you better as the metal doesn't degrade as quickly

You have to remember one thing though

Rot is Rot - Once its starts, its VERY VERY hard to stop
Yes lots of products 'claim' to cure rot, Im yet to see a proper way to stop it without doing some electrolosis or heavy blasting to remove it....

My sentiments exactly! Just because most cars come with a 10 year rust/corrosion guarantee, it doesn't mean that they shouldn't be re-sealed before then if you intend on making the car last longer than 10 years.

Undercarriage corrosion is the cancer of vehicles, and very rarely can it be 100% cured. The best you can do is weld it up and hope that it lasts a few more years.
