Hi guys!

Just found out today, to my astonishment, that the UT had optional as far as i know, heated seats. I just confirmed on EPER. I never thought this existed. I also checked, and there is a electrical wiring diagram for the seats on the haynes manual.

Never ever seen such a thing. Nothing pops up on ebay, forums, the web in general.... does any of you know anything?

These ones are for the fiat bravo.

[posted in the uno section, but got no replies. Maybe someone that had a uno before might know of anything that can help]

What are you actually asking?

You've established they had the option?

What do you actually want, what are you looking for?

The uno is so old now and with so few about if you really want heated seats you can buy a kit for about £40

Well.. i am asking if anyone knows of a pair of an OEM kit for sale. I own a Uno turbo mk2. Also, in Portugal it's still a "somewhat common" old pocket rocket. Different from the scene in the UK i know, which they are super rare by now.

I was also saying that i discovered that they had this as an optional extra... And please, the UT is not old.. it's vintage :p

You're not going to find a set of these, the majority of UNOs have long since been scrapped and rotted away as such dealerships with spare parts have binned them long ago so very little chance (microscopic chance) of ever finding them added to that just because it was an option doesn't mean it was available to all markets, heated seats may have only been available to Northern European countries

If a car was fitted with them from new the chances are the elements have either burnt out, become damaged with use or rotted in a scrap yard

You sure are, pessimistic... If I found for the bravo, why can't the same happen for the UT? Sure it's going to be hard.. And has for the majority of unos being scraped, there were other markets besides the UK, as I'm sure you are forgetting.

The bravo had considerably more cars with heated seats, remember the bravo was the same car with the same seats as the marea/brava which they only stopped making in the early 2000s the uno disappeared long before that and the uno turbo comprised only a fraction of them.

Please do read the post you quoted, I state clearly that there were other markets and it's likely that heated seats were only available in very few of them, most likely only the coldest climates where cars don't last as long and were scrapped long before.

You can spend an eternity searching for the genuine parts but checkout the mk1 punto section where a guy who's family owns a fiat dealership is having problems finding parts for his mk1 punto, and he's looking for common stuff

Wonder what he is searching for. We have so many punto mk1 parts that nobody buys them almost
