It's a sign of the times that if you want performance with your Grande Punto, you have to choose diesel. The two petrol engines in the range are a 65bhp 1.2-litre and a 77bhp 1.4-litre, both with eight valves rather than the 16 of the Multijets.
Wolfrace, apparently there is a petrolhead verison in the pipeline to be released when the current shape Punto HGT finally stops being produced and sold next year. Apparently it is going to be a on par with the Golf GTi. Only time will tell though.
I've been informed that the 1.4 is actually a 1368cc 8V variant of the new 16V fire engine . Also the 1242cc 16V is gone for good aswell I'm awating specs on the new engines now
ah its beautiful but itsss got mera lights and remindesss me a tiny bit of the new shape astra. but still i may have to trade in the hgt for one of these babies
