2 of my mates were messing about in the passenger seat of my car and knocked the rear view mirror off. what is the best glue to use for sticking it back on. i tried those double sided pads too and its just too heavy. anyone?

Not had that happen to me but I'd probably try something like unibond or 'no more nails'. Get it from B&Q or something. Ask the people at the shop if it's safe to use it on glass though first. Use the glue or whatever and tape the mirror into place with gaffer tape to hold it secure for a day or so to make sure it sticks properly though.

I'd then give my mates a slap!

I remember a bit ago, Centoevo recommended some stuff called Tigaseal thas really bloody strong. I dunno whether you could use it to stick glass to plastic and I have no idea where you could get it from aroundd here.

Last time I had to stick a rear view mirror on I used a hot glue gun - it sets quickly and is pretty strong too.

Did you use double sided thing that are specialy for interior mirrors or the white ones? try autoglass or another windscreen fitters my local autoglass usaly do this for free.

You can buy a Loctite glue specifically for this, seen it in Halfords.

yea i tried the proper sticker things that i bought from a garage and it fell off. ill try using some of the glues you mentioned, thanks guys
