Good luck with your reshell man, thats what I did with mine, didn't take too long either. About a month for me and a mate to do the whole swap, turbo gear into a 45 shell. All mark one stuff.
Chassis plates easy to dodgy up (mine were held on with plastic clips ehehehe, and the chassis number on the inner wing, I've just covered with a plate around the strut top.

Also, I see you put a massive front mount on it, where'd you shove the factory oil cooler?

Not too worried, I am after all over in NZ You'd have to look very hard and long at the car to pick that it wasn't originally a turbo anyways.
I took it for a WOF (MOT equal I think) and it flew through, inspector didn't even bat an eyelid.

i know it wont take me long to reshell, its just finding a shell thats prooving very very hard!
as for my oil cooler, its sat to one side of the intercooler. ive ditched the massive intcooler now and standard oil cooler, watch this space for some mental mods! ive lost the plot now and its gonna come back a proper beast instead of a shandy car it was before mmmmwwwhahahahahaha!!!!

as for the uno i won on ebay, well its not as bad as first thought, in fact im very tempted to reshell into it!! ive just dropped it off for its MOT so fingers crossed! its got a little surface rust but nothing that cant be sorted! structually its solid as a rock! no rust on turrets or anything! will get some pics up later when i get it back

my mate had this in his garage, was goin to reshell his uno turbo but got to now get rid! its 3 door, no sunroof and almost the same colour as my turbo! its 95% mint! just one small patch needs sorting!!
^^^^^ thats the only bit wrong with it!
its already stripped out as u can see, and my mate already has the turbo steering rack in, pedal box and a couple of other bits. so chuffed!!! give me a month and i'll be back mmmmwwwhahahahahaha!!!
expect many a update, so keep urselfs posted to this thread!
