Does anyone know if there is a rear wheel drive tranny that will bolt on to a fire engine, the tranny will fit if it's from a 903,999,1108,1242,1372. thanks for any info

BTW: all wheel drive would also be ok:D

Yeah a reliant robin box will go on it. My mate's just built a single seat race car as he's entering the formula 750 cc & he's got a 1.0l fire engine bolted to a robin gearbox(oh & 100bhp) (y)

The 4X4 tranny won't handle the power if the C514 can't handle it:( , how much power can the robin box hold, where can i find more info. I need it to hold close to 200hp at the flywheel!! I have though about using some othe tranny and simply adapt it to my engine;) , but i want an easier way out.

Have a look on google for the formula 750 motor club. They should have loads of info & links if I find it first I'll post back. (y)

Most of the sites only talk about the race and not about the car specs like i want;)

Anyone knows what this is? it is AWD or something!!

I noticed it has a driveshaft and a rear diff, i never knew there was a rear wheel drive punto!! with a fire engine!!!

I found the answer myself, i called fiat and was told that some Punto GTs were equiped with awd, it won't hold the 200hp i'm expecting very long though, this coming from a fiat mechanic!!

Is there any other tranny in a rear wheel drive configuration that should fit a 1242? I don't really wan't to shove a 1242 turbo in to another panda shell:eek: , its embarassing to lots of idiots at the track when beaten by a panda:bang: , then no one wants to race agains it:( .

I Hope you can find the answer. Cinq RWD/AWD Looks cool

Panda rwd/awd will look even better, especially mine since it only weighs 567kgs with full tank and driver:D .
