whats the standard speed you can go with a jelly wheel and isit advisable to go around 80?

iirc 50 mph, but when i pick cars up with them on and get mate to drive them back he does 90 
i do normal speeds when i hae mine on (hardly ever) but the ecomended speed is 80kph or roughly 50mph.. should be a sticker on the side
ive done 80 on mine as i didnt really want to be doing 50mph on a motorway.

think i'm with you now but i could be way odd, best to know incase it happens to me.

no the spare you get with modern cars is a light tempory wheel and tyre. like this, the tyre will have tempory use only written on the wallbulldog5046 said:

i was just doin hundread with mine on but then the abs light came on and the traction control so i took it easy on da motor way steady 70..

These artificial tyres are designed to do 50 miles at 50 MPH. I wouldn't press my luck...
Ive had mine on about 2wicethis year, both times driven the car as normal. This may seem stupid but i didnt even realisie you were ment to take it easy with it on.

It should have a big label saying 80KMPH MAX.

It's to do with heat dissipation I assume....you don't want to do 80mph and get it blown out from overheating.
