Right I have a stlio abarth and every time I stop the engine it beeps at me. But every now and then it won't do it. Not coming up with any faults and no warning lights. Can anyone help me out?

No it stops beeping when I leave it in gear

Which is what you're supposed to do.
It beeps to warn you you've left it in neutral, and stops beeping if you leave it in-gear, which is what I was getting at.

Either a Stretched cable
Or a Stuck Setup
So whip it apart - clean the friction spots up and a little copper slip will help prevent it happening again
Also make sure the drum hasn't become too big of an ID
As the shoes can only come out so far....

Disc brakes on the rear of a Stilo Abarth, but the main points you mentioned apply- if the handbrake is poor, there's something wrong with it.

Checked it and it's fine. Must be I need to just leave it in gear
