Hey i have an 08 reg Fiat Grande Punto Diesel Multijet 130BHP, it has done 38000 miles. I was driving it last night and it just cut out, only lights on were battery light and oil light. It started again after about 10 mins and drove about a mile then cut out again, started again after about 10 mins, drove it a little further than a mile then it cut out again, started it again after about 5 mins but the throttle wasn't responding this time so i turned it off and left it another 5 mins then it started and drove about the same distance again and it cut out once again, another 10 mins it started and got me home, just around the corner.

Any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like crank sensor or EGR symptons.
