Oddly enough, that's my idea as well. I've got several thousand mags. I've even had to rent a lock-up. I've got Canon scanner/copier/printer and a 500GB External Hard Drive.
I intend to scan as many as I can and make any that are relative to here available to view on FF, Ben notwithstanding. The others will, I hope, go to a dealer of magazines and earn some money. Mine aren't quite as old as those shown in the link but still date largely from the early '70s. I also have thousands of brochures.
They're not even confined to cars either. There are copies of Bike, Motor Cycle Mechanics, Ride, Truck, Commercial Motor, Motor Boat & Yachting, Motor Boat Monthly & Amateur Photographer.
There are also brochures from most of the European manufacturers and a few Japanese ones, although I don't have many exotic ones. I've got a couple of 1970s Porsche 911 & 914 catalogues and another from a very rare French model known as Monica. Before anyone accuses me of hanging around in phone boxes near Soho, it was a genuine car, a 4 door saloon which, if my memory serves me correctly had running gear from Chrysler; pretty much the same as a Jensen Interceptor.
Two I regret losing were a Lancia Thema launch brochure which was a thing of beauty in burgundy leather with a blue fabric section around the middle, unfortunately it disappeared years ago along the same way as a Ferrari 330 GTC catalogue.
