Has anyone ever replaced the Omega rear beam from a Mk2 Panda with the wishbone set up from a Cinquecento Sporting?

I have a Panda 750 that I'm modifying for the PPC £999 Challenge. My standard Fantasia tri-pods on roundabouts now so I was wondering if the rear beam from my Guff Cinquecento could be adapted to fit the 750. If it has already been done was a difficult process and worth while in the end?

I don't think it would be easy.

Tripoding isn't necessarily a bad thing in the "going faster" department. All the Clios do it, along with an aweful lot of FWD cars. A fair few of the better RWD cars do it at the front!
