Hi All
I recently purchased a 1997 Cinquecento 1100 Sporting. I've been driving it for about a month and have broken down once. It also keeps losing revs and cutting out with the red fuel injection light coming on on the dashboard. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what may be causing this. I am no mechanic by a long shot but I had a look under the bonnet. I unclipped the large grey plastic filter cover and peered inside, there appeared to be a sensor inside what I would call the carb/injection area. I also undid the two bolts on top of this unit to lift off the housing because I could see an unconnected small bore pipe underneath. It turns out that this pipe should connect to the left-most port under the housing (as you look at it standing in front of the bonnet). With all this done and refitted it still appears to be randomly bringing on the red fule injection light. Anyone got any ideas.
Thanks in advance
John
