HI

as ive previously stated i only got 1 blue key when i brought my car (2000 16v elx 1.2) my question is would i have to go to a fiat dealer if i wanted a key fob that would activate/deactivate the alarm/central locking ? any ideas of cost aswell ?

Im presumming it has an factory fitted alarm as there is a red led on the right of the steering wheel on dasshboard inbetween the steering wheel and drivers door but i could be wrong.

The 1 blue key that i have only allows me to open/lock the car with central locking and does not activate/deactivate the alarm.
thanks(y)

Fingers - i dont think its a fake alarm led as ive seen few same models as mine with same red led light in exactly same place

From the location you describe I'd say it's definately not a standard fiat fitted thing, How do you currently activate or deactivate the alarm? Or is this just a light on the dash which currently does nothing, and you assume it's for an alarm?

Is there anything else on the dash that looks like part of an alarm or impbaliser? Any stickers on windows or boxes under the bonnet that look like siren.

Hi

I only open the car with the 1 blue key that has central locking,no alarm is activated/deactivated.I was sure it was the factory fitted alarm that has the red led inberween the steering wheel and the drivers door on the dashboard but from what you have said it's not.I'll have a look under the bonnet today for any alarm siren etc as there is nothing else on the dashboard, windows apart from it's registered with IRS etching on the windows in White.

Thanks
