its not a chip its a rip off, its a 10p resistor in fancy packing

oh don't say that... that really had me hopes up, all being less then £20 an all + the really convincing description of not being an actual ECU but a module that goes in between the ECU and whatever the ECU is connected making it really easy to fit in under 15 mintes.

Is there no hope that it might actually do the trick?
