i have my airbag lights on with the amber one on too just had some one look at it they said it was the switch on the passenger was faulty has any one had this before and know how to fix it

Obviously make sure the switch is turned on otherwise it desplays the light to tell you its switched off.
The switch is a common problem area it's not the switch that is the problem it's the wiring that gets snagged in part of the glow box and causes an error, there is a wiring loom fix you can buy from fiat. Many aren't convinced by this and prefer to take the switch out clean up the connectors making sure they have a good fit and the problem seems to go away. What ever route you take you will still need to take the car to someone with the equipment to turn the airbag light off.
