I am having major problems with my power steering and i have seeked advice twice now and been told its will cost hundreds !!! I will explain since i bought the car (private) I took it home and the next day i hit a kerb eek i then noticed an issue with my power steering might have been the knock or may not have happened hence only bought the car 1 day previous I then noticed that taking corner at low speeds sometimes made the warning light come on and the steering stiff!!! I then was advised to use my city mode in when i was in town and it stopped for months. I had odd times where is played up but overall problem solved :bang: or not i recently knocked the car again due to a whole in the road i had to get anew tyre and a new track rod end and now my power steering is going off sometimes 6 to 7 times in a day only on corners and once at speed I can hear a noise when it does it like a creaking in the steering wheel as i turn it can someone help me ???

Could be motor on its way out etc

Going off on corners is the typical battery issue but i dont believe this will be that

Only real way to tell whats going wrong with the PS is to have the fault codes read
