Just had a new camshaft sensor installed on my 1.9 jtd 2006 multiwagen engine warning light was on kept stalling and eventually would not start.
garage read codes and replaced the sensor.Drove home fine no warning light.restarted car engine warning light back on. will not reset. took car back read code says camshaft sensor fault but they had new replaced sensor. deleted code from ecu all fine but when restarts engine warning light back on.Car runs fine .Any ideas how to turn this light off.

The garage should be able to do it. You might see if simply taking the -ive battery lead off does it, though.

You'll loose the radio code (if any) and settings on the radio, otherwise it should be fine.
