Hey guys.

I only have one car key for my Fiat Punto and it was in pretty bad shape. The other day the metal key slipped out of the rubber holder and I can't get it back in there :(

Obviously now I can't drive my car which is like losing an arm. What are my options. Can this be repaired? And if so at what cost?

Thanks for any advice.

Any key cutter should be able to cut you a key. (And an uncoded key will cost you very little.) You then need to carefully seperate the old plastic bit and find the chip, which you can glue to (or recess and insert into) the new key's plastic bit.

Timsons can code most keys, but it's worthwwhile haggling -- guide price 25 - 30 quid.
