well im still voting for the 1.3 getz it has good build excellent reliability, did anyone see it on top gear when jeremy clarkson chose it as the best car availble from the new asian car makers. in fact the only bad thing he had to say about it was it cost to much lol. and you could get other other european brands for simarly money.
anyway hynudai continually get better press than fiat, in nearly every car survey they beat fiat, in dealshiop help they slaughter fiat as in recent survey fiat dealers were the worst car dealers in the uk comming last in every catagory except cleanliness when we finsihed 32 ouit of 33 as alfa dealers are dirtier.
i under stand what everyone is saying though about image and loooks.
if you want image and loooks fiat wins hands down no questions asks my mk2 punto looks so much better i think, but if you take that out of the equation then getz wins easy. all comes down to what sort of person you are, are you the i want my car to getfrom a to b with minimum fuss or are you the i want my car to look good and dont mind a lil agro lol
i have fiat and i like it, allthough never again, but i get abuse all day long about my fiat from my m8tes at work. everytime they have another car magazine there is fiat hitting and all time low on some new customer surver. i even get stick of me boss the ford focus driver, bloody thing hasnt gone wrong in 3 years now grrrrrrrlol .
the "after all its stilla hyundai" quote made me laugh since when has fiat gotten respect ??? it does iwith its owners sure i will defend mine at times. but thats cause i own it. i expect the majority of people dont exactly class fiat as a quality brand.
once upon a time people said "after all its stilla skoda" how that has changed over the years. they are quality motors.
anyways enough of me ranting lol
