Hello everybody,

Any help on this would be great. I drive a 09 TJET with glass roof registered 01/05/2009. Ive owned the vehicle from new. Last week i had my glass roof open as on the rare occasion the sun decided to come out, that night i shut the roof by pressing the button...but jus before it shut completely it shot back and i had to keep pressing the shut button to close it. I tried the process agen but this time it developed a grinding noise. The very next day i took the vehicle to the dealer i brought it from, two techs came out armed with some WD40 only then after 10mins was the roof grinding and scraping as it moved finally becoming totally jammed. 20days out of the 2year warranty the dealer is now informing me that fiat are "dragging there feet" and do not want to pay out for a new roof, they diagnosed it as ribbons have snaped causing the roof to be inop. They have now sent for a Fiat assesor but its not looking good apperantly, facing a bill of £2000 for a new roof?! Wtf! Should this be covered? What are my chances of it being covered? Can anyone advise of someone to speak to at Fiat who could help?

Any advise would be a great help.

Yeah, not sure there is any comparison to my back box and this guys glass roof!
