Hi All,

Can anyone answer this question for me please.
Q - Is there a dignostic socket in a Fiat Cinquecento Sporting 1997 Model?

Also my cinquecento has stoped working. Changed the plugs and there is no spark. Any ideas of the problem?

Thanks Jack :)

there's a diagnostic socketoff the ECU. Unfortunately, the Cinq isn't ODB2 compliant.

Check for fuel past the injector (pull off the air filter box and peer down the throttle body). If you can't see any dribbling there when the engine is turned over, you need a new crank sensor.

Otherwise, was there a spark before you changed the plugs? If there was, suggests the leads have gone awol.

Yeah thanks well i have got my cinquecento for my 1st car and it failed on emmisions (running rough) it was running normally so changed the plugs now it wont start and no spark. Jack

My best guess is that the leads were damaged fitting the plugs -- but no spark on any cylinder? That is a wierd one, which is why I'd check the fuel past the injector. No fuel past the injector and no sparks always means a faulty TDC (aka crank) sensor. When it goes down, the ECU doesn't know the engine is turning, so it shuts down the injector and sparks. They're cheap, though.
