i found a old grey plastic case with the word FIAT on it. it has a bunch of tools in it
can someone tell me about it
are they rare. ive never seen one before

It's the original tool kit that was supplied with all new Fiats from the late 1950s to at least the early 1980s.

There's probably thousands of them still sitting around in the back of people's garages. Seldom see them with all the tools still there though. Think I still have the one from my 1975 124 Sport Coupe somewhere.

You probably can't even give them away for free.

Your's has got the 8mm/10mm tube spanner missing.

I think that was just a generic picture Davren, as he said his has all the parts and the screwdriver has the wooden handle like in your picture.

The only people I can see who might be interested would be someone restoring a classic (500, 124, etc) who just happens to be missing their tool kit.

I saw one go for $60 with the piece missing in the picture.
