Hello there,

I am looking for a new hatchback car and my budget is around $28,000. That can't get you much here in Egypt as cars are very expensive.

I owned a 2009 Nissan Tiida (aka Versa) till March but, unfortunately, I totaled it. Ever since then I've been gathering some money and looking for a new car.

List of cars I'm interested in:

1. 2010 Fiat Bravo (1.4L)
2. 2010 Mazda 3 (1.6L)
3. 2010 Subaru Impreza H/B (1.5L)
4. 2010 Seat Ibiza (1.6L)
5. 2009 Volkswagen Jetta (1.6L)
6. 2009 Volkswagen Golf (1.6L)

I know the Jetta is not a hatchback, but I like that car.

What do you think is the best car out of those 6? I don't know how much HP the Bravo has, but around 120 I think. It's a 1.4 but I am assuming it's not slower than the 1.6 ones since it's in the same price range.

People that work at Nissan are my friends, and they told me that the Fiat Bravo is one of the best cars in this price range. Has great acceleration and is pretty stable on the road. Is that true?

I was searching for reviews about it on Google and I came across a thread here on this forum which is leaving me in doubt, especially because the guy is in Egypt also. https://www.fiatforum.com/lets-talk-fiat/203663-never-buy-fiat-egypt.html

I've learned not to trust what people say unless they have valid proof, but since I don't know anything about the Fiat either, I'm in doubt.

What do you guys think? And if any of the cars in this list is better than the Bravo, which one is it? And what makes it better?

Thank you so much.
