hmm but the arms move and surely that means it will just make the string fall off???

i was at a rally 4 hours from home when my first broke.
my bf used to work with fiats so he somehow wrapped a cable tie from the actually linkage to a part on the motor. am not while sure how but it got us home in the pouring rain. scared the **** outta me when it first broke. wat age is ur car?

Black derv Tipo 3dr, two Uno's one white and one blue not sure on any other details, and a blue Tempra again not sure on engine details in Loom's in Derby.

All cars seemed fine bodywork wise so I suspect engine or electrical fault.

The tipo is minus a wiper motor and right hand side indicator however thanks to moi :p and stinks of cigs so I wouldn't touch the interior.

Always a fair few Puntos in there too, but Tipo's are generally hard to find, so heads up everyone!

fiat scrapyards in east london..

does anyone know any scrap yards where i can get fiat parts in east london?? anywhere between city/central and essex

i need a mk2 punto front bumper and am not willing to pay more than £30...

Leeds, W, Yorks

Done a search around Leeds ahead of MOT and found around 3 worthy donors for mk1 Punto's in Babington's yard (Cross Green LS9). Nowt worth reporting in the Thorpe La. yards (Middleton Leeds 10), still to do Wortley yards. One thing to report... If the MOT man say's that you need a new CAT cos' your emmisions are high.....

1/ Don't believe him. CAT's are nowt more than wire mesh in a tube and unless it rattles, it ain't broke. Just get it cleared with a spot of high octane driving, or chuck a bottle of cat cleaner in your tank, then drive like the devil....

2/ Scrappers don't keep the CAT's on any car that comes into their yard. Aparently it's worth more being weighed-in, than sold to some middle aged HGV driver suffering from "credit-crunch"eritis

Sure I saw a couple of Cinq's in Babby's if anyone 'round here is looking,

Dez
