Re: scrapyard

i was at a scrappy today and a boy was scrapping his cinq sx, because his dad told him his injector had gone, but it drove in! i asked how much they offer you? he say £50 i said drive it round the corner and i will give you £70 dont let the scrappy kill it, he said no i cant be bothered with the hassle :bang: so the git took his papers into the office and let them have it  body work was perfect it was a deep red colour, was years of life left in the poor little thing :(

Re: scrapyard

One London based one I went to yesterday AMCFIAT, had a widemouth bumper from an automatic £45..
Lots of other stuff, all removed from cars-he advertises on ebay, collection only Forest Gate area. I paid £120 for an immaculate interior form an Sx + eleccy motors, looms and switches.

GW Bridges at Pease Pottage (Crawley) around 10 Puntos one still had its 1.2 16v engine in. Prices vary (get Matt if you can) I paid £45 for sporting 16v discs, calipers, pads with no visible wear + a 75 cam! If you phone be careful one idiot answered an enquiry, said "I'll look" looked at the ceiling for 10 seconds and then said "got just the one sir" The boss took the phone .....:bang:

Love brekers summat about taking stuff off and not having to worry about breaking bits (I'm sooooo sad).

Just been down GW Bridges in Crawley, they had a pretty much intact from what I saw Black Tipo 1.4ie 5 Door, an Orange Fiat Panda, a Blue Seat Marbella (Panda), a few old Puntos e.g. 60s type stuff 3 and 5 doors. Didn't see any Unos despite the guy saying they had some.

Very Bridges :( . There are two areas to check, in and to the right. And to the left. On the right is 'better' gear. On the left it gets worse as you go along. If you go left look to the right over the back. Punto's are over the back, from memory, 16v sport, sport, van, coupla 60s some sx, an elx... Look for the tell tale yellow of the sporting ...bravo, did spot an uno somewhere but not a lot left...
Some with the better stuff on the right We spotted 4 punto at least, an SX, a sport (missing cam :)) some 60soh saw a 55 over there almost complete.

has any1 seen any decent uno's in any breakers yards around the manchester area. could do with a reasonable floor pan and inner wings and rear turrets. trying to restore my mk1 uno turbo

thanks

I have a 1972 850 and a 75/76 124. I have most parts for both and even some extras. I am looking to sell both, but am not willing to part them out and list all parts individually, as time is of the essence (trying to simplify in preparation for twins due in early December!!) I am located in the Central US. Anyone close enough to be interested in one or both, please let me know.
