Does anyone else ever try to fix something on their car and make something else not work? Or is that just me!?! [:(!]

The off-side repeater was loose so I pushed it in and turned it a bit so that the fixings would hold it against the body panel. Everything was fine until I came to use it...now the bugger wont work! I've tested it and its the white bulb holder thats knackered. I dont know my own strengh! :)

Oh well, its an excuse to go and buy a pair of clear oval repeaters! :D

Pray to the God of Abarth - I hope your speed over your rivals and anyone else at the traffic lights

That still doesn't mean that you are a "complete dumbass" ... Don't be so rough to yourself :)

OH MY LIFE!

After work yesterday I went to halfrauds to pick up some new repeaters. I chose a lovely set of smoked oval ones that pretty much matched the front lights. I got home and set about taking the old knackered unit out. Just before I started chopping wires I thought I'd give it one last try....Lo and behold, it worked! I can almost guarantee that if I hadnt just spent £20 on some new ones it woulnt have worked!

I thought about taking them back and spending the £20 on my girlfriend...then I saw sense and fitted them anyway. They look well smart, wish I had done it earlier!

You are not a Jedi yet, my child.;)
Take lessons from the master - it's much worse when you do it to someone else's car![V]

Hmmm... I've got to keep that on my mind: "You are not a Jedi yet, my child." sounds also very nice :)

Or

Can Im access the back of the indicator through the wheel arch liner?

Anyone know how to get it out without bodging it?

i knew it'd fail woth them thats why i changed them in the morning before the mot! i put it off for months!
trying not to indicate near police etc haha.

failed in the end anyway, really petty. headlights misaligned, orange paint had come off indicator lense (not side repeater!)
and handbrake cable was loose
