Very dissapionted with hylton rd fiat of worcester who had trouble with basic service items like oil filters and sump washers. Who could not find fault with an intermitant fan whilst in warrenty and now warrenty has expired so has fan £200 + fitting please. And last time I was in there they had done away with a parts desk altogether and you dealt with a receptionist until someone could be found. They are a multi-make garage in defense I suppose.

Fiat do have many reasons to be proud but some of the dealers dont care or understand

Grays of Warwick. Can't go wrong with them.

Probably one of the best, if not the best, Fiat dealers in the country

Re: MOST IMPORTANT FIAT POST EVER

Fiat are aware of the problems, and these comments and those in the past have gone unheard apparently. I recently heard (not actaully experienced myself) that when you take your Fiat or Alfa for that matter into registered dealerships for a service, repair or warranty now, you are contacted by Fiat to find out exactly what you thought about your experience there!
This is great! The dealerships don't do this, this is FAUK head office! You can say exactly how you feel about the dealership and your most RECENT experience.

It's all in the aim of improving, so take part, and be honest!

Absolutely right about the feedback questionnaire by Fiat, received one in the post a couple of weeks ago. Just hope someone is actually going to use the data sensibly. Look at thread 'Do Fiat realise there's a customer issue?'

Re: MOST IMPORTANT FIAT POST EVER

i know this thread is 6 yrs old, but thought i would add mine in, bought a second hand scudo with 1 yr warranty left, the air bag light decides to stay on, so went to ERIC ASHMOLE SWANSEA and they told me that electronics are not included in the warranty, even though the warranty book says they are? his reply "or that warranty book is out of date now"?

1st and last fiat i ever buy!

when did the warranty start on your car/van?

If its over 2 years then the garage is perfectly right!

You are so true. I <3 the folks at Grays for the X reg Punto that has been in my family since new, although it's a bit far from my house so I don't tend to get it serviced/MOT'd there any more

Your first and only post is to say you won't buy another Fiat because in the second hand Scudo you bought one warning light stays on and the electronics are out of warranty? Why don't you instead visit the various sections in the forum and see if it's a simple fault that can easily be rectified rather than throwing your toys out of the pram over something that might be easily resolved?

terms of warranty are available for all to read...anyone using a vehicle for business should have the appropiate cover for if/when their vehicle (source of income) is off the road.

Re: MOST IMPORTANT FIAT POST EVER

The third year Scudo warranty is a 100,000 mile power train warranty, so in some ways its a better warranty for commercial users than private customers.
