I'm not sure if I've posted this here before, but I though it was interesting. This is the Fiat Tipo DGT that was presented to Nigel Mansell in appreciation of his time as a Ferrari Formula 1 driver in 1990. Schumacher gets a Ferrari, Mansell got a Tipo...

It was presented to Mansell on 8th January 1992 and kept by him until 4th November 1993 during which time he drove only 425 miles in it. The ungrateful sod!

The chassis number is 1,000,000.

This car was for sale on eBay not that long ago, maybe 6months or so & it didn't go for that much either.

It was owned by a Fiat dealer when I got those pictures. He was trying to sell it privately for silly money. At the end of the day it's still a 1990 Tipo so I'm not surprised it didn't get much.

Ah yes, remember this coming up on here before, probably through Auction Watch or something....

It's a digi dash, kinda american style.

That's what DGT stands for ,Digital. Did you never see a digi dash Tipo? The dash was famously unreliable and Fiat dropped it after a few years.
