I've just bought a new stilo in october and i want to fit the standard cd changer in the glove compartment. I've asked my fiat dealer here ina Spain and they told me that the whole kit plus fitting would cost about 450 euros (about 330 pounds) and i find that far too expensive.
I'd like to know what teh CD changer model is so i can ask in some of the shops around here and see if i can get a better deal but the problem is that only fiat can get me the new lining fore the glove box; is teh new glove box exactly the same as the old one with a hole for the changer or has it got something else to it that i'll need?, otherwise i'll just take the one in the car and cut a hole in it!!
Also, i've looked on ebay for the cd changers but they only sell them for england so the new glove boy can't be fitted on a left hand drive car (like mine).
Finally, i wanted to know if i would be able to fit the cd changer myself or if i need a profesional to do it.
Sorry for the long message and thanks for any information
