Scrappage deal

Just got £3300 scrappage on my Lotus, plus a decent trade in on my current GP against a GP1.4TJet.

Think it's the first time I've had anything back out of the tax man.

Very happy with deal and now waiting for the Black Beast to arrive.

New sig to follow when TJet arrives.

Unfortunately the real world economics have an impact.
When offered what is probably twice the real value the head has to rule the heart.

That's before 22mpg and 1.26 per litre for super unleaded.

The TJet offers similar performance and much lower costs.

Fiat owners are critical, wait 'till my I'm rumbbled in Lotus Land.

Hi DPR.. I'm getting rid of mine on the scrappage although I dont think it will be regarded as such a classic!

How long until delivery?

2-3 weeks for delivery.

And

The Lotus will live, I think the dealer has other plans.
He wants is in one piece, don't take anything off it he said.


Someone there has a 1980s' 911, so that might be a pointer.
